150 Tour Guide/Information Specialists Needed For New Las Vegas Sightseeing Company
To be considered you must meet the following JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be at least 18 years old or older
2. Must have at least a high school diploma/GED
3. Have a neat, clean and professional appearance
4. Ability to be on your feet, standing and walking for up to 10 hours per day
5. Ability to speak to large crowds of people as well as small groups
6. Must have a working cell phone
7. Must have access to a computer and internet and possess basic Microsoft Word skills
8. Be a “people person” with a Customer Service “friendly” personality, self motivated and be able to work under pressure
9. MUST BE DRUG FREE
Candidates, called SYGHTS Agents, will be assigned to a specific area of the Las Vegas Strip, downtown Las Vegas tourist area, or other major resort area called a Zone. They will be responsible for providing information about SYGHTS to Las Vegas visitors to encourage them to purchase our services as well as providing those services to visitors who are already SYGHTS clients. Services such as:
1. Provide information on all the restaurants in their zone when asked. Including types of food offered and expected price ranges.
2. Let clients know what shows are being performed, where to buy tickets and how much those tickets will cost.
3. Help clients find the shops and stores that will cater to their shopping needs based on budget.
4. Inform clients about the various nightlife activities in their zone including bars and clubs that suit the client’s tastes.
5. Answer questions about the history of their zone as well as future plans and upcoming grand openings of new businesses.
6. Upon request, take clients on a tour of their Zone pointing out all the great photo spot, shops, restaurants, etc that usually get overlooked when visitors just walk around on their own.
7. Upon request take photos for clients and their group so everyone gets in the picture.
8. Get to know what clients are looking to experience while in Vegas and suggest other zones they should visit where they can achieve the most.
